I just got gamed.

Sam and I are not normal by any means.

I mean this in a good way. But sometimes... oh dear god. Last night, I suggested we go to Barnes and Noble so I could get a signature hot chocolate from the Starbucks inside (they did NOT have them bitches) and as we sat in the turn lane in her car, she screamed "I LOVE BARNES AND NOBLE."

Apparently the guys in the truck next to us heard her. And they just looked at her, before they started laughing, which made me laugh. So after a few seconds, they waved, and she waved back, and I was still giggling in the passenger seat.

And then while we're at B&N, she gets absorbed in some book, and I ran off to find a copy of "The Game" (this god-awful book on how to become the best pick up artist ever that really just tells you how to degrade women) because I sometimes think Grant makes things up but that's not the point. So I'm kind of skimming the book, and this guy walks up and asks me "Are you reading 'the Game?'"

It's kind of awkward because usually when sam and I go out, at least one guy tends to hit on one of us. But usually not while I'm reading the worst book ever and they usually don't try to use that as an opening line.

So he had a conversation with us about it, asking me if I thought it was real (no) or a good idea (no) and I mentioned Grant as the reason I was even looking at it, and soon after he was like "Oh well I just think it's a good story." and wandered off. Dude, that's not how it works: YOU read it and use it to pick up girls.

And this is why I am scared of people.
